You are the engineer behind the grid.

The world is changing — and energy is at the center of it. On a remote island, you've been assigned to lead the development of a new generation of nuclear systems designed for progress, sustainability, and precision.

Build reactors, optimize cooling systems, and design a fully automated power network that connects industries, research facilities, and city infrastructure. Balance resources, demand, and safety — every watt of energy counts.

Nuclear Engineer Tycoon — the island grid at night

Progress is built wire by wire.

As your island evolves, new technologies and integrations unlock: expand to offshore reactors, connect automated factories, export clean power to the mainland, and manage environmental stability through innovation.

Build pipes to move steam, water, and other fluids, and wires to move energy — making reactors and turbines work together as one living system.

Nuclear Engineer Tycoon — planning the facility layout

Design, build, innovate.

Construct a fully functional nuclear facility from the ground up — every structure, cable, and system built by your design. Plan the foundation, allocate space for reactors, cooling systems, and control rooms. Integrate industrial sectors, residential zones, and logistics networks to sustain your island's energy demand.

Balance power output, cost, and safety protocols to maintain efficiency. Every new reactor module you unlock expands your control — and your responsibility.

Maintain, optimize, sustain.

Run a living simulation of energy management and maintenance. Monitor pressure, heat, and radiation across multiple reactor systems. Replace worn components, repair leaks, and prevent critical overheating.

Automate maintenance routines, deploy drones, and connect diagnostic modules to predict system failures before they happen. Keep your grid stable, your island efficient, and your people powered — the future depends on precision.

What you'll do

Build a nuclear power plant and sell the energy to research new technologies and build more reactors.

  • Buy more land to increase your production.
  • Automate processes with employees.
  • Refine uranium into fuel pellets for use in reactors.
  • Keep reactors safe and prevent meltdowns — disasters are costly.
  • Research advanced and larger reactors and nuclear technologies.
  • Achieve an energy monopoly.
  • Treat nuclear waste and recycle it, generating more money.
  • Transform the world with clean and safe energy.
  • Six different maps with areas for expansion and construction.
  • Build pipes for steam, water and other fluids, and wires to move energy.

Description

Nuclear Engineer Tycoon is a nuclear power plant building and management game. You build reactors, turbines, pumps, batteries, and generators; lay pipes to move steam, water, and other fluids; and run wires to move energy so that reactors and turbines work together.

Earn money and research advanced and larger reactors. Keep the reactor safe and free from disasters — disasters are costly. Buy uranium and transform it into fuel pellets, treat nuclear waste, and manage employees to automate your plant.

Set on a remote island, the game puts you in charge of a new generation of nuclear systems designed for progress, sustainability, and precision. As the island evolves you expand to offshore reactors, connect automated factories, export clean power to the mainland, and manage environmental stability through innovation. Progress is built wire by wire.

History

Alexandre has been programming since 2003, starting with Flash and PHP. In 2016 he began building games in Unity, together with architectural 3D interactive content, while working full-time in real-world machine automation — an industry whose systems, sensors and control logic directly inform the game's design.

In 2019 he released two small flight games — a helicopter and an airplane title set in a futuristic city — with little commercial success. A builder project that started in 2016 became, in 2023, the foundation of Nuclear Crawler, planned for 2028. Nuclear Engineer Tycoon is a shorter, focused version of that game, planned for Q1 2027.
